Knobs vs. Handles

When choosing hardware for a cabinet, drawer, or dresser, you often come across two options: knobs or handles. Both are practical, but they give furniture a completely different look.

Knobs are compact and subtle. They work well for smaller cabinet doors, nightstands, and dressers where you want the furniture itself to be the focus. A knob can also quickly give simple furniture a new look. For example, choose black for a modern look or gold for a warmer and more luxurious accent.

Handles are more prominent and give furniture a clearer character. They are particularly practical for wide or heavy drawers and cabinet doors, as they offer a better grip. Long, straight handles suit a modern or minimalist interior, while round or more classic models provide a softer appearance.

When choosing, you can therefore consider style, size, and ease of use. For handles, always pay attention to the correct center-to-center measurement so that the mounting points align with existing drill holes.
