Passage lock with bronze faceplate
This passage lock is designed for interior doors that you want to close but don't need to lock. Think of the door between the hallway and the living room, or the entrance to the kitchen. The latch bolt ensures that the door closes neatly into the frame and opens again with a natural movement of the doorknob. An additional convenience is that the latch bolt can be reversed, so it can be used for both left and right-hand doors.

Choice of three strike plates and scratch advice
The lock comes with 2 different strike plates, available in both matching bronze and a stainless steel color. Please note during installation that the bronze-colored strike plate is susceptible to scratches from the latch bolt. Signs of wear and tear are more often the rule than the exception here in the long term. If you want a wear-resistant result, install the included stainless steel variant for extra durability.
