Save time without compromising on quality: our M8 concealed mounting system is the modern successor to the classic screw-on installation. The big advantage? You only need to precisely mark one hole, minimizing the risk of measurement errors. The strong M8 connection provides a rock-solid result with a minimalist look. A golden rule for the perfect finishing touch is color consistency: match the color of your hardware to the rest of your home for a well-thought-out and professional interior design plan.
Frequently asked questions about Stair railing holders
What's the difference between a hollow saddle and a flat saddle?
This is the most important choice for your installation. A hollow saddle is round and fits seamlessly with round banisters. A flat saddle is completely straight and is used for square or rectangular banisters.
How many brackets do I need per stair railing on average?
For a standard railing up to 2 meters long, we recommend 3 brackets. Is the railing longer? Then you'll need approximately one bracket per meter for a safe and stable construction.
Are the banister brackets concealed?
We offer a variety of options. The versions with an M8 bolt are concealed, while our screw-on banister brackets have visible screws.
Are the brackets suitable for both wooden and metal railings?
Yes, our brackets are universal. Note that with a stainless steel railing, you'll need to drill and tap the holes yourself, while with a wooden railing, you simply screw them in place.
How high should a stair railing bracket be?
The ideal height for a stair railing is between 85 and 90 cm, measured from the front edge of the stair tread. This is also fully in accordance with the Building Decree.
